the Council Chamber and was called o order b7 Mayor Broughton at 70050

moved by Conrad and seconded by Law that the bill. be paid upon cors c wo

bill for $27*00 for a fire call December 25, 1937 was presented
and read. After discussion in regards to the fire truck and other
matters it was referred to the Fire Committee for i vies i a io .
ilk. from Edward and Ludwig for $23.00 with assignment attached to
M. W. Firike was, presented and read* AXter discussion it was moved by
Thomson and seconded by Geo, Smith the warrant be held to appy.y on
bills .due the city from Mr. Fi e* The motion carried,
Mr. Woofers asked for a leave of abse ce. It was moved by Conrad
and seconded by Dr. Smith that the leave of absence be granted. The
motion carried.
The Mayor reported that Mr. Peter Knudson had asked him about some
improvement district bonds and the Cit7 Attorney and City Treasurer were
instructed to investigate the matter.
It was moved and seconded we do now adjourn, The not ion carried.
