BUDGET/FINANCE COMMITTEE
JANUARY 7, 1997 4:30 P.M.

The Committee reviewed the December claims and recommended that
they be paid.
The Committee reviewed the overtime list for PPE 12-25-96.
Discussion regarding the 1997-98 Budget Calendar. It was suggested
that the Committee start in January to prepare a preliminary
Capital Projects list. The Mayor will send a memo to all
department heads asking them to prepare a 10-year Capital Projects
Plan, by January 21st. On Wednesday, January 29th there will be a
combined Budget/Finance and Department Head meeting to prepare and
"prioritize" a preliminary City Capital Projects Plan.
