Discussion regarding a bill for $75.00 submitted by Torberts
Woodcrafters for labor and material to repair a door frame in the
bathroom at 306 E. First Street (Schessler mini-mall). The damage
was caused by a police officer who had to kick in a locked door
during a burglary in progress call. Torberts Woodcrafter does not
have a city license.
Motion by Bud Johnson, seconded by Gay Easton to pay the bill
and have the City Treasurer write a letter advising Dick Torbert
that any future work will require a city license. Motion carried.
The Committee reviewed the claims and recommended that they be
paid.
The overtime report for PPE 1-25-97 was reviewed.
Purchase requisitions were approved as follows:
