M. April 15, 1.941. Upon roll call. the following aldei~ma.n ar~sv~rered present: Feuerbacher Smith Jacobson Thomson McM~.nu~ Gome r vordahl Law The minutes of April lgt and April 14th ~rere read and approved. ~'he C3.ty Treasurerts report fot the month of March was presented and read. It was moved by Thomson ar~d seconded by McManus the report be approved. The motion carried. ~'h.e City Clerks s ~epvrt fete the month of March was presented arld read . I'~ was moved bar Law ar~d seconded by Thomson the report be approved. The motion carried. The report of the Water Dept. for the month of March was presented and rEad. It wag moved by Vordahl and seconded by Law the report be approved. It was moved b~ Law and seconded by Feuerbacher i the permit be granted. U~, Wright appeared before the council 3.n regards to can~aine~rs and the care of garbage and explained the cond3tior~ ~xist3~ag in her neighborhood. She was informed that the ordinance would be called to the atter~tian of the offenders Ntr. H. S. Var~Nice appeared before the cour~c3.1 asking that the license for the Photographer's business be eliminated. The matter was deferred w~;til the next meeting of the council. Mr. R. H. Sterrett, Manager of the Ben Franklin Story, appeared before the cour~eil in regards to the garbage con'~a3.ners in the alle~r back of the store ~.nd also 3.n regards to the license for his store not being fair ~d in proport~.on to other businesses, The m~xtter vas deferred :until the next meet~.n~ o~ the council. The Manager of the (~arab~e Store appeared before the council i~t _ ~ regards to co1.~.ect3ng a b3.Zl from Edward Ludwig through the c3.ty to apply on his 13ce~~a due for the store. Councilman Vorda~il ~ubrnitted ob3ectior~s ~,~d ,r~a~on~ recamm~~ding the matter be referred to a standing committee of the council for analysis before acting on the wam~ .
