re~urn?s of April 1.941., and to consider other matters and was
cal.Zed to order by Mayor Conrad at 7;30 o~clock P, M, ;~pri1. 14, 1941.
Upon ro1.1 call the fallowing aldermen answered present:

The Mayor stated that the ~urpoae of the meeting ~?as to canvass
the e1.ec~ior~ returns of April 7, 1941, and thereupon named as tellers
I,aw, Jacobson and Vordahl. After revievui~ag the retu~a~s ~~e committee

A r~eommer~datior~ was pre~e~ted az~d read to the co~acil iA ~rhich it was recommended that the present r~e~er rake ~~~iedule be changed,
effective durir~ the months oP June, July, August, September ar~d
October, that the measured ~.rriga~ion rate be reduced from X1.00 to
5~~ per 1,{3 0 ~q. and that the rate of discount b~ changed from
l to 24~ ors bills paid ors or before the loth aay of the fvllowixxg
month. ,after discussion it w~.s moved by Vordahl and seconded by i,aw ~ the ms.tter be refe~~ed to the Wader Committee, v~ate,~ Com~i~sioner,
j City Engineer and City gttorney fvr investigation. Upon gall call
' Feuerbacher, Jacohsor~, ~hom~or~ aid Gomez voted r~o ar~d Vordahl and Lam
voted yes and the mntior~ urea declared lost.
It was moved by Thomson and secor~led by Feuerbacher that ich~ ~ matter be considered by all aldermen until tomorrow night and be
settled at the regular meeting ors Tussday, April 15, x.941. Upon roll
ca11 aI.1 aldet~mer~ present voted age except Vordahl not voting. The
mo~ic~r~ was declared passed.
