The minutes of March 18~h were rea+~ axtd approved.
The report of the Health Officer four tie ~o~th of ~dare~. was
preser~~ed aid read. It was moved by Thomson az~d. secar~deci by Feue~-
bather the report b~ approved. The motiQ~a carded.
~ The r epc>rt of the Ch3.ef of Police for the month of March w as
presented and r8ad. It was moved bg Law and ae~or~ded by Thomso~t
the report be approved. The motions carx?~.ed.
The repot of the Pol3.ce Judge for the mo~~h of March was pre-
ser~ted ar~d read, T~ was moved by Vo~rdahl and seconded by Feue~bacher
the report be approved. The mot3.on carried.
The bills for the month of March were referred to the Finane~
Committee and after due delib~ra~3on the committee reported 'back

This being the time set for receiving bids for the purchase of
meal culvert pipe anci band, The City Clerk presented proof of pub- lieation in the Laurel Outlook and way ir~atructed to ogen and-read all
bids. ~ Bids were received from A. N, Ea~or~ Meta3. Products Co., Feders~l
P3.pe & Tank Co., ~Ioz~ta~a Culvert & Pipe Co. and the M3.dland Impieme~t
Co. The bids were referred to the street and Purchasing Committees
and a ~eaes~ dec~a red. the cc~n.3.ttees reported back recornn~er~dir~g that

Mr. R. C. Brown appeared before the council ire regat~da to the water meter at his property outside the citg limits. Ha way informed
that the meter would be checked

be~~ bid, be accepted. It was moved by Gorner and seconded bar Law the d

Commissioner be authorized to hire are additional pumper temporat~ily,
until regularly as$ig~ed by ~lae City' Cour~ciT, at the prevailing wage
of ~1t34.00 per month, e~~'~ctive ,~f..pril ly 1941. The motion carried.
Mr. W. A. Good reported that the sewer p~o~ect applic~.~ion to the W.P.A. was completely prepared ar~d asked pe~m~.~asion to go to
Helena to submit plans to the State Board of `~~ea~t for the3.r
approval, before s~bmitt3.n~ the appl3ca~ior~ to the V .P.A. It eras
moved by' Vordahl and seconded by Thomson that Mr. Good be allowed to
~o ~o Helena and that expenses he allowed. The motion carried.
