The m`~_nutes o~ December lst were read and approved.
The mor~~hly report of the C~.ty Treasurer vuas presented and read,
It was moved b~ Parker ar~d seconded by NeR~anu.~ the report be approved,

The monthly repor~G of the City Treasurer, on the G3ty mater
Department eras presented and read. I~ was moved by Vordahl and seconded
by Thomson the report be .approved. The mo~3.on carried,
It was decided to bring t~.e delinquent v~ater b3.lle up to date. ~'he Wader comm3ttes should go over the books and analyze the bi~.ls
outstanding, I~ was referred to the dater Commissioner, V'dater Committee
and City ,A.ttorney to make a report.

The resignation of C. H, ~tarms, pity ~ragineer, effee~ive December 20th, 1942, was presen~~d and read. It was moved by McManus
and seconded by Vordahl the resignation be accepted. The motion carried.
Tt was su~~es~ed that fir, 33roha~ugh be ire charge of ~Ghe street and
Sever Department temporarily. A11 maps of Mater, Serer Lines azad Streets
were reported finished. ~.'Y~.ese maps show sizes of pipes, and location of fire hydrants. ~~ur. Brohaugh to be taking over the Street and Viewer
Departments, in addition to his Water Departmen'~, temporarily at an
increase of fifty dall~rs, (~5~.~~) ire addition to hip present salary,
or a t of al of ~p250. DO per month .
The F3.r~ar~~e Committee report was pre~~~ated and read recom~?ex~dir~g
thmt the salary of ~1f Malcom, be raised five dollars, 05.00} per month, beg3.r~n3.ng January lit, 194 . It was moved by ~Tordahl and seconded by
P~.rker the rept~rt be approve. The motion carried.
A Letter frcros the Yellowstone Tank was presented and read,. asking
for release of Co1l,ateral Receipt No. H 128'7, describing ~ehool vi~trict
No, `7 bond, and Receipt No. H 620 covering Cit~r of Laurel., Montana, bond,
Tt was moored by Thomson and seconded by McManus, that the bonds be released
for payment. The mo~iox~ carried.

pre anted and read, It was moved by Vordahl grad seconded by 1~eNar~u~ the
application be accepted, The motion carried.
,fin estimate of the damage done to R3.verside Park was mailed to
Harold 5. Collins, by the City ~n~ineer. The City Engineer also reported
that he k~.ad called on ~jr. ~o1d in regard ~o the matter of water dripping from the eaves of the ~~erchants Apartments, and reported that Mr, tNa1d
said he would gee about fixing it
