The resignat ior~ of Lou Franzen, Police~a.r~, effective 1Vovember 1, 1942, was presented and read. It was moved by Parker and seconded by McManus ~M.e resignation be accepted. The motion carried. bond with the IIn3ted Mates Fidelity & Guaranty Co. for Ra~e11a Fritz, City Clerk, for one year, ~2,QOC~.40, was presented. Mr. John Schaff asked for the main central. bui~.ding in Riverside Park ~'os~ a pr3.vate dance November 7, 1942. It was moved b~ Thcunson and seconded by Parker the request be granted ar~d the charge be X10.00, The motion carried. Ntr, J. S. Brohaugh asked for per~iesion to purchase approximately 800 feet of used lumber which is at the Sewage ~3spasal Plant. after discussion it areas moved by Thomson aid seconded by Parker the matter be referred to the Seer Committee and City engineer with authari~y to act. The motion carried, The City Engineer presented the matternof getting more gravel while the eour~ty crusher vas Qperating in the vicinity.
