Discussion regarding the possible ratification of the union
contract and the retroactive back pay.
The loan for emergency repairs to water intake lines at the water
plant will come due on April 19, 1997. A decision will be made at
the April 15th budget meeting regarding refinancing of this loan.
The police command has requested an increase in wages. This will
be discussed at a later date.
Donna stated that a presentation on the PORS retirement system for
police officers will be made to the committee during the budget
process.
