BUDGET/FINANCE & INSURANCE COMMITTEE
APRIL 30, 1997 5:30 P.M.

Discussion on flood insurance for the buildings at Riverside Park.
Don received premium quotes on all of the buildings in the amount
of $6,650.81. After further discussion a motion was made by Gay
Easton, seconded by Bud Johnson to recommend insuring the American
Legion Hall, Rod & Gun Club Building, Jaycee Hall, and one dwelling
in the amount of $2,784.00. Motion carried. The insurance is
effective in 30 days.
The following 1997-98 preliminary budgets were reviewed:
Storm sewer -
recommend the same 10 mill lev%; as last
year. (This G.O. Bond issue will be paid
out in 1999.)
Light District #2 Residential - recommended same
assessment as last year.
Light District #3 Business district - recommended same
assessment as last year.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:50 p.m.
