BUDGET/FINANCE COMMITTEE

Don distributed the 1995-96 audit report. Paul Strom will be here
on May 20th to review the audit with the Budget/Finance committee
and the City Council.
The overtime report for PPE 4-25-97 was reviewed.
The Committee reviewed the April claims. Motion by Donna
Kilpatrick, seconded by Bud Johnson, to recommend that the claims
be paid. Motion carried.
Peg Arnold, Librarian, presented two proposals for a security
system at the Library.
After a discussion motion by Sud Johnson, seconded by Gay Easton,
to accept the bid from Security by Kenco. Motion carried. (see
attached)
Jim reported on a new proposed telephone system.
Purchase requisitions were approved as follows:
GENERAL FUND
Municipal Official's workshop
Re-wire the big shop
Equipment for new fire truck
John Deere F725 law mower
Demolition and removal of three
garages
Hydraulic pole saw, six meter
extendable pole saw, safety helmet
Down payment on new phone system
(balance of $5665 due in August)
CTEP GRANT
Partial payment for developing specs,
redesign, and drawings for sidewalk
improvements
