Minutes of the City Council of Laurel
The City Council of the City ~f La~re1 met in regular
session ~.n~:~t~e Goui~~.~~ ~~am~ grad was called to order _
by Mayon Thomson at 7;30 P.N. Qfclock December 19, x.944.

The minutes of the last regular meeting were read and a
mot ion was made by Feuerbacher and seconded by A~icManu~
~he~r be approved. The motion carried.
The list of delinquent licenses was presented end read.
motion was made by Sm3.th and seconded by tNieber the .City
Treasurer discontinue carryring the accounts of E.S. Me- Iratyre and Joe Rud3.n in the ledger as it was impossible
to collect them. The mansion carried.
The report of milk tests ~'or December 15th was presented and
read and a motion was made by Feuerbacher and seconded by
Smith the report be accepted. The. motion carried.
Resolut3.an No. 616.
F~esolution No. 61~, being a Resolution ~ransferr~.ng
certain funds of the City of Laurel.
Be it resolved bps the pity Council of the City of
- Laurel: That the ~~ty:Treasurer be, and he herby is, because
of error in making; en~r~r, authorized and. dir~9cted to
transfer the sum of Thirty-Four dollars and ei~Y~.ty cents
034.80), from Special Improvement ~?istrict Na. 5D tQ the.
General Fund.,
That the City Treasurer be, and he hereby is, author3.zed and directed to transfer the. sum of Fifty-Seven dollars and
six cents, ( 5'7.~6j, from Special Improvement ~is~rict No.53
to the General Fund,J
That ohs City Treasurer be, and he hereby is~ au~hor~zed
and directed to transfer the sum of Six dollar~,(~6.G0)
fr~rr~ Special lmpravem.eta~ District No. 54 to the General Fund.

The appointme~at ~f Pllr. F`.h. Suddith as Police Judge to
cor~,plete -the unexpired term of F.G. Scheidecker was pres$nted.
A motion was made by Parker and seconded by Mc~Tanus the
appointment be approved. The motion carried.
A motion was made b~ Parker and seconded by F'euerbacher the
checks in the amount of ~50G.0~ froze I~~~~: aC„b; Barris and
Nor. G.E. Set~er~ren be accepted as Gifts to the City tov~ard
the purchase :.rice of the Laurel Cemetery, and that the claim
for the purck~ase price of the Ce~neterp be paid. The motion carr3.ed.
motion was made b~ Parker and seconded by Wieser the Fire
and Police Committee investigate a reward system ~.n vier
of publishing a reward notice in regard to destruction of
City propeEty, The motion carried.
motion was made and saconded we adjourn. The motion
carried.
