The question of purchasing doh; license tags far the year was brau~ht before the Council and referred to the Police Com- mittee, ,A J.et~er from Lohof Brothers wras presEnted and read .and a motion was made by Parker and seconded by Smith to refer to the Street Committee with authority to make recorranendations as to the conditions and correct them. The motion carried. NIa~or Thomson reported the floor in the dance Ha11 at River- side Park was in bad cor~d3.tion and needed ~andin~ and that present heating equ3.pment was inedaquate, Snasmach as consid- erable revenue was expected from the building he recommended the floor be put in repair and a heater purchased. motion was. made by Smith ~.nd .seconded by TlcNanus to refer to the Park Committee fbr action. It vas moved by Parker and seconded by Wieber Reso7.ution No.615 be passed and adopted. Upon roll. call a1.1 Aldermen present voted aye and said Resolution was declared passed. Ordinance No, 385. Ordinance No. 385, being an ordinance authorizing the City off' Laurel to acquire by purchase, the Laurel Gemeter~ way presented and read,Tt was moved by Parker and seconded bg McN~anus Ordinance ~o. 385 be ps~sed on the First reading.
