Thomson at 7:30 O~clocl~,P.M. on October 3, 194 .

The minutes of the last regular meeting were read and approved.

the report be approved. The motion carried.
The Library report for the month of September was presented
and read. Tt was moved by 1ilsan and seconded b~Mc~iaxaus the
report be approved. The motion Garr?ied.
Requests from Mr. Price for rental off' Riverside Park Hall
October 21, and the Rotana Club for 4etober 2~th. were
presented. It vas moved by R~cManua and seco~aded by ~tilson the requests be granted. The motion carried.
A letter from l~r. Stanle~r E. Felt, attorney, re~ardin~
13cense of Airs. Goldie N. Mooned way read. It wa$ moved by
Parker ar~d seconded bar Feuerbacher the letter be referred
to the City Attarneg for answer. The motion curried.
The Police reports for the month of September were presented
and read. St was moved by Feuerbacher and seconded by
PkcCracken the reports be approved. The motion carried.
The refund claim .for gasoline tax ~nas presented. It eras mo~Ad by Parker and seconded by Wieberi the claim be approQed.
The motion carried.
The ~iea2th Officers report for the montY~, of September was
presented and read. It way moved by Feuerbacher and seconded
by PdcCracker~ the report be approved. The motion carried.
The City Treasurers report for the month of September was
presented and read. ~t vas moved by I+~cGracken grad seconded
by Smith the report Be approved. The motion carr~,ed.

the Gash offer off' T~relve hunct.red ~.o.llars {~l~t~U.~U) ~ or the
Laurel Cemetery and recommended tYiet the City raise i~~~
o~'fer to Fifteen hundred dollars (~Z5~~,Od } ~vi~h the under-
a standing that G.E. Setter~~er~ and G.L. MBrris would make donations of Two hu~adred f3.fty dollars (250.0) each and
the Laurel Commercial Club make a donation of Five hundred
dollars (~SatJ,O~) mal~ing a total pureha9~ price of Twenty
five hundred doZlars(25~~.04).
Mr. T.W. Laird and Nr. R.II. Sterrett representing the Laurel commercial Club appeared before the Couzacil to report that
the directors of the Laurel Commercial Club goted to make
a donation of Five hundred dollars (~500.~t7) to be used by
the City iz~ purchasing the Laurel Cemetery. They also reported
G,E. Setter~ren and C.L. 1~6rris would each donate Tvvo hundred
fifty dollars to complete the purchase price of the ce~aetery.
It was moved by V~il~on and seconded by Smith the report of
the Cemetery Committee be approved and ghat ~Ie~sr~s. Setter~rer~
and Morris be aal~ed to submit a proposal in writing to sell
tY~.e Cemetery. The mot ion carried.
