Upon ro1.l calf. the fol~.owing alderman axz,swered pre~en~ a McManus Wil~oza Feuerbacher McCracke~a Gower Parker Smith The Montane. Power Company bills far the m.or~th of ~.pril were presented, I~ way moved by 'Wilson and seco~d+ad by ~c~a~us that the b3.~.ls be pa3.d. The motion carried. A ~.etter su~nitted by Dr, McCauley was pra~entad and read. Tt was moved by Parker ar~d ~ecor~ded by NcCracker~ that the permit be granted provided it was entered on a permit farm, The lotion carried. A Letter from tie Yellowstone Ba.r~k requesting the release of the follavaing bonds June 1, 1944 Ye~lowstane Co. School ll3.st. ~7 X1,000.0 Judy 1, 1.944 C3.ty of Laurel, Geis, Sewer Bonds 3 at ~5~0.~0 1,500.00 was presented and read. It was moved by Parker and seconded by Gone r that the bonds be released by-the City Treasurer. The mot3.on carried. The City C~.erk~ s report for the month of April was presented and read. It was moved by McCraekent arad seconded by Smith that the report be approved. The mot3,on carried. Three permits submitted by Lohof Brothers veers presented and read. It was moved by Nic~anua and seconded by Feuerbacher that the permits be granted, The motion carried, A ~.etter submitted by the B.A.R.E. requesting the use of the hall at Riverside the first Sa~~rday of every month until further notif'~.ed was preser~t~d az~d read. It was moved by Parker and seconded bar Gamer that the request be granted provided they furnish police protection. The mo~3or~ c~.rried. A letter submitted by the E.M.B.A. requesting the use of the hall at Ra.verside for a dance Saturday, May 20, 1944 was presented and read. 'the motion carried. It was moved by R~cManu~ and seconded by Wilson that a steel munic3.pal water sign requested by J. S. Brohaugh to be posed at the reservoir be purchased. The motion carried. Tt was moved by W3.lsan and seconded by Smith that the City se3.l part of the light fixtures on hand to the Montana Power Company. The mot~.or~ carried.
