The pity council of the City :of Laurel met in regular session ira
the Council. ~hamb~rs and was c a l~.ed t o order by R~asTor Thomson at 7 :3~ P. N;.

present. It was rnove~. by Parker and seconded by Rodgers, that the permission
tca ~urchas~ a licensE be granted, end that the Polio and Fire Committees
contact Ivr. T~~~cI~'~anus in regard to parking space f'or said taxi. Thy; motion
carried.
1'ex ~t~iter and wife again reappeared before the Council in regard to
purchasing 10 lots ~hn the West end of Nain street.
1t was moved. the t ~r~ of`ficial plat off' the three blocks an the West end
of ibain street be made. Z'he first block to remain as shown orgy the map, drawn ~y the City Ln~in~~r, and the and and 3rd blocks to be platted into
regulation blocks with T-alleys, to correspond with the blocks on the North
side of the stre~;t. A motion was made by Gomer and seconded by nod~ers that
the plat be ~ad~ . `1'h~ mot ion carried..

~t.~ee~ ~ornnaittee make a report before permiUsion is liven Mr. & j~%~rs. 3~eFrance
to move the building. ~lh~ r-iotion carried.
The Water tfeport for T~ov~mber 2~th was pres~ntec~ and read. Tt was mo~~ ed bar Feuerbacher and s~conde~, b~ t~odgers, tre report be approved as

The City Ln~;in~er asked permission to ~~ve tY.e transit sent to the
factory for checking and adjusting. It was moved by ~Ta1d and seconded by yark_er that tie transit be sent to the factory for adjustment and checking.
The motion carried,
The "`ayor asked permission to purchase ~aaint fcr the kitchen Boor, at
~.iv~rside dark, to put on by th.e car€~ta~er. It .was n~ovecl ~y Yark~r and
seconded b~T ~od~ers the paint be purchased. `1'he motion carried.
