February was presented end read.-~ motion was made by Parker'
and seconded by Smith the repoert tae approved. The motion
carried.

I~~emorial for men and women of Laurel and vicinity in the
armed forces, to be spo,~tsored by the Commercial Club, and
requested information as to obtaining asisstance with ~he::;~
wrork of erecting same.. motion was made by Smith and sec-
onded b~y Parker the Git~r give all asisstance possible to erect the N~emorial.. T2a.e motion carried.

pleted ~rork on the river intake. The motion carried.

the I~iayor be given authority to hire labor for work on the
youth side sewer C X1..00 per hour. Regular City employees to be paidy~1.C30 per .hour also for labor on South side. sewer.
