representing the Garden Club. they stated that they desired then City to tike.

the council, .asking permission to operate ~ r~or~-profit club for the Veterans
ar~d their guests, Whey stated that tk!ey hid bout the Club ~''ortune, which his
been operated by J.oe ~~rcur.e, End expected to h.~v~ the ~1ub oper~.ting by the
1st of November. It was moved by Tubman end seconded by Parker th~.t ~ lie~n~e be granted the A'. F, tN. The motion car.~ied.
Mr. Nelson of the M. H. Rhodes, Ir~c perking meter ~'omp~t~y, ~.ppea~red
before the Council diving ~n explanation of hip product, and ~xplainin~ how
it worked, The Mayor referred tYie muter of r~llel perking on N]~in 'street
to the Policy ~'ommitte~e to bring in a repot at tr~e next meeting.
A letter from the City Hearth ~~`ficer regarding the condition of the milk
in the City was presezatet~, It was moved by Parker rind seconded by ~m_ith thc~
