The City Council of the Gitp of Laurel met in regular session in the
Council Ghamberg and was called to order by Mayor ~~'hoz~son at 7:30 otclock P. M. March 1$th, 1947..

the minutes of the meeting of larch 4th v~ere presented and read.. It
way moved by darker and seconded by l~od~ers the minutes be approved as read. The
motion carried.
The minutes of the regularly adjourned meeting of March 1~.th were read. It was moved by Y'~o1d and seconded by nodgers the minutes be approved a,~ read. The
motion c arried.
The City engineer reported that a tine had laeen ordered for the patrol.
ORDIN.~4T~CE NQ. 394
Ordinance No. 394, being an ordinance amending Section 121, of Article
II of the, revised Ordinances of the City of Laurel, f3..xing payment of Judges
and Clerks for ~ervices.at- E~.ections was presented and read. It was moved by Parke
end seconded by ~`euerbacher that Ordinance No."394 be approved. Upon roll call
X11 aldermen p~eserzt>~~oted ",~ye~ and- paid Ordinance was declared pro~~isionally passed and app~~sved.
Trse Clerks report for the rnanth of February was. presented and read.
It was moved by Feuerbacher and seconded by ~To1.d the report be approved The
motion carried.
letter from K. Gilley, regarding p~.ayground equipment was read. It way moved by Filson grad seconded by Parker the letter and literature be tarred
over to the p~.rk committee. The motion carried.
~n applieation fora permit by Herman N. M~~:chael, to move a frame house f
from. Durland eve. around corner to Ye11ov~~stone AvQ., to be moved on rubber fires,
and to be placed on concrete foundation, size 12xJ.E3; with garage, also moved on rubber, attatched to same, at an approximate coat of ~2,OQ~ was presented and
read. It was moved by FeuErbacher and seconded by Rodgers, the permit be granted.
The motion carried.
renewal of permit, by Jahn J. Holmes to move 3 14X24 wooden buildings
to lots 1 to 9, dock 31, hllard dub., to be placed an concrete foundations with sheeting and siding on outside, at an approximate cost of X5,000, was presented and
read. It was moved by hodgers end seconded by ~''euerbacher the permit be renewed.
The motion carried,
It was moved by Wold and seconded by Filson, the City Engineer and the
Sewer ~'ommittee 3.nvestigate the ~araitarp condition of the Segmiller property in
Block 30, ,A11ard Subdivison. The motion carried.
The City Engineer was instructed to check on Cit3T lots in the East part
of town. and make a report to the Council at the next meetin~_

It was moved by Rodgers and seconded by Parker that the application far
Lewin Hergett to m.ave in a wooden school building to be placed in rear of
Builaing on Main Street be rejected, ~'he motion carried,
