A water report was liven by Alderman ~'~o1d, regarding pipes to be replaced ova
the line south of Laurel, ktaown as the John ~-%arhmam ~.ine. He stated that Mr.
Darh~m was of the opinion tk~zt the line should be repaired and got replaced a t
this time, and thought that the work could be done ~c~r X50, which. cost would be
pro-rated amoX~~ the ~azater users on the dine.
It was moved by McMa~aus and seconded by Mc~ormick that a charge of X35 per lot I
for 4" waterl li~ae for each 25 feet be the rate, whe~a water litae~ are replaced
in the Gity. 'the motioXa carried.
Tre City'Trea~urer asked about a~.lowing discounts o~ water biXls whey paid ota
the 11th of the month, following the 10th when occari~g on a Sunday or Holiday. It was moved by Homee and seconded by McNta~aus that when the 10th day of the month
fell on a Sunday or Holiday, discounts would be a1].owed oia the 11th dad of the
