RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL AU HORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE MODIFICATION AGREEMEN=GRAM. R MONTANA NATURAL
RESOURCE DAMAGE
WHEREAS, the City of Laurel (hereinafter "the City") and the Montana Natural
Resource Damage Program (hereinafter "NRDP") have previously entered into Agreement No.
700122 (hereinafter "the Agreement") related to pr jects awarded funding through the
Yellowstone River Recreation Project Priority Plan (he �einafter "the projects");
WHEREAS, the parties need additional time to 4omplete the projects; and
WHEREAS, the parties wish to memorialize anxtension of time of the Agreement by
way of a Modification of the Agreement. - t
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by t e City Council of the City of Laurel,
Montana:
Section 1: Approval. Modification No. 3 to Ag eement No. 700122, by and between
the Montana Natural Resource Damage Program and the City of Laurel, a copy attached hereto
and incorporated herein, is hereby approved.
Section 2: Execution. The Mayor is hereby gi en authority to execute Modification
No. 3 to Agreement No. 700122, by and between the Montana Natural Resource Damage
Program and the City of Laurel.
Introduced at a regular meeting of the City
by Council Member Wilke.
PASSED and APPROVED by the City Council

Modification No. 3
The Montana Natural Resource Damage Program (NRNP) and the City of Laurel (Contractor)
hereby agree to modify Agreement No. 700122 (Agree ent). The purpose of this Modification
No. 3 (Modification) is to allow additional time to compl�te projects awarded funding through the
Yellowstone River recreation project priority plan.
SECTION 1: DATES TO COMMENCE AND COMP ETE SERVICES
NRDP and Contractor mutually agree to amend Sectio 1: Dates to Commence and Complete
Services, of the Agreement and change the termination d to from "through December 31, 2022"
to "through December 31, 2023."
SECTION 14: LIAISONS AND SERVICE OF
NRDP and Contractor mutually agree to amend Section 1 Liaisons and Service of Notices, of the
Agreement by deleting the NRDP liaison and replacing it ith the following:

Except as stated in this modification, all requirements for
Agreement remain the same.
The effective date of this Modification is January 1, 2023, has long as this Modification is
executed by all parties.
