Nott ingh~m appeared k~eforc~ the uour~cil in regard to a900,000 Home for the aged, which. the Mate of ~iotatana is planning to build in the Stsate. He st~.ted that t?Zree sites had been off~re~, of vuhich any o~ae might b~ suitable for such a Home. He asked if the City would furnish the facilities of sewer and water for such a home. Tt w~~ stated that the Council would go a,n record as being willing to furnish the necessary facilities. Also th€~t the City Eriginaer end the Mayor would meet with ter. I~Tottingham to look over the proposed s3_tes, before a delegatio~a met with the governor ~rrith such an offer. Lr. D. Nottingham appeared before the ~oulacil requesting the use of bs~rb~d wire o~ the 1~TOrth and fast fences of the Sac~.dle C1ub~s Rodeo Grou~ads. He st~t~~ that such fence would be out 52 or 6 feet from the ground, with brarbed wire ground the top of the pre nt net fence. It was rnavec~ by Parker and seconded bq~ Smith permissiota be granted the ''toddle flub for such a fence. Mr. Clgde ~r~;~ appeared before the ~'ouncil on beh€~lf of the `T'ract Tract 1~ater users, requesting that the pity allow said users to connect on the 7th "venue dater Mein, ~nc~ diseantiz~u~ the connection they now hrave on the Sixth avenue dater Mein. It was moved b~ Parlor and seconded bg Smith, the muter be referred to the City engineer with authorit~r to pct. The motion carried. Mr. t;~. h. Menello appeared before tka.e `'ouncil in regard to the sewer on 7th Avenue . No act ion was taken at this t~.m~ . ~n ~pplics.tion for ~ liquor ~.icense far the E~g1es Lode was presetated. An ar~plication f'or ~ renewal of s~ permit by Haro].c~ Ingraham to build a 26x36 frame house of new and used 1~amY~er, on concrete fcunci~.t ion with basement, on Lots 9 & 10, Block 14, Yellowstone Subdivision, at ~n ~~proximate cost of ~5,000 was presented. RESOLUTION NU, 695 A resolution providing for the sale end issuance of "General Swirnnsing Po41 Bonds, ~itg of L~ure1, I~ontan~, 1949" in the amount of ~l'hirty-five l~housand ~'`ollars in accordance with the results of a Spec3.a1 fond yXection held in the City of Laurel, Nonta:~m, on the 4th day of April, 1949, pro~ricting far the givi~ag of notice of sale th.~reof end declaring an emergency, was presented grad regd.
