The C3.ty council of the City of Laurel, met in r egular session in the Council
Chamber and was calledto order by Mayor '~horlson at 7 t30 0' clock P. M. Tuesday
December 19th, 1950.

'The minutes of the last rleeting were read. It was moved by ~''euerbacYier and
saconded by 1~ZcManus the rlinutQS be approved. The motion carried.
A request was made by the `~ellowstone Bank for the release of ~2,~00 collates
in ~'choo~ District No. 7 Bonds, bT~ the 15t of the ,year. It was moved by MdManus
and seconded by Rodgers the ~'ollatoral be released. ~'he motion carried.

A resolution transferring; certain funds of the City of Laurel was presen~Ged an
and read. It was moved by R'Icr.~anus end seconded by ~'euerbacher, Resolution No.
733 be passed. Upon ro11 call, all aldermen present voted "aye" and said
Resolution was passed.
ORDINANCE N0. 116
Ordinan.ee No. 4i6, being nn Ordinance creating a Special LNater Office Building
Fund- was presented and read. It v~ras moved by Y~old and seconded by Fr~ebury that
Ordinance No. L}.lb be passed. Upon roll c all all aldermen present voted "ayes`
and said Ordinance was declarod pissed.
The Treasurers report for the month of November was presented. It tivas moved by ~'~~uerbacher and seconded by Freeburg the report bo a ~~rovecl. The motion
carried.
The ~lerk~ s report for the month of November was presented. It was moved by
Wold and seconded by FPeebury the report be approved. The motion carried.
A letter from the City Treasurer, requesting permission to l~a~re the Mate for
2 weeks, beginning; January 15th, 1951, was presented, It was moved by lodgers
and seconded by r'euerbadher that permission be granted. ~'he motion earriecl.
This being; the time set for receiving bids f'or the sale of Lots 1 8c 2, Block
3, West Laurel subdivision, the City Clerk presented proof of publ~.cation in the
Laurel Outlook. One bid, frorrl Lena A. Stouffer in exchange for an easement for a fight-of-V"Uay for drain ditch was received. I~ was moved by Freeburg and
seconded by T,7cTa~anus the bid ba accepted anc~ deed issued for same. The motion
carried.
A written report from Alderman F'redbury on conditions of the wiring at the
Pump House was read. Tt was moved by 'Vold and seconded by ~ZcMszus that Alderman
Freeburg be aufihorized to advise the Northern Pacific Railway and the Farmers union central Exchange his recor;u~endations for corrections on wir ink at Pump
House. The motion c a Brie d.
A let ter from T. R. Holmes was presented and r ead. ~Phe Council r equested
that the letter be sent to Herman 5chessler, and Mr. Holmes be notified of ~ueh
action.
It was moved and seconded we do now adjourn. Tha motion carried.
