M. Tuesday December 5th, 1950; Upon roll call the following aldermen answered present:. I~ was moved by Wold and seconded by omee the minutes be approved. The motion carried. I't was moved by Freeburg and seo~nded by Romee that the property owners on the second Avenue Ubater line, recently laid, be billed at t~-~.is time. The motion carried. It was moved by yWOld and seconded by T~Ic~~anus thc~ City `l'reat4ure~r nave author- ity to sign release for 20,000 collateral with the Yellov~stone Bank. The motion carri ed. RESOLUTION N0. 72g Reso lution P1o. 72g, being; a resolution trap sferrin~ certain Hinds of the city o£ Laurel was presented. Tt was moved by y~old and seconded by ~''rsebury, Resolutio No. 7~, be passed and approved. Upon roll call, alI aldermen present voted ~"aye~' and s~~d Resolution was declared passed and approved. RESOLUTION N0. ?30 Resolution No. 730, being a resolution; traz sf erring certain funds of the City of Laurel was presented. Zt vas moved by tireebury and s econded by homes Resolutio No. 730 be passed and approved. Upon roll call, all aldermen present voted "aye" and said Resolution was declared passed and approved. RESOLUTION N0. 731 Resolution No. 731, bein6 aresolu~ion transferring certain funds of :the City ~f Laurel was presented. It was moved by Freeburg and seconded by Feuerbacher Resolution No. 731 be passed and approved. Upon ro11 call, all aldermen present voted "aye" and said ~esolu~ion was declared passed end a~~roved. The °yater report for November 20th, -was read. It vaasrloved by U~old and seconded by lubr;~an that items having; to dov~I.th the office building; be deleted from the report and- but in 1*dater Office '~uildin~ Fund, that a Kesalution creating a special fund for this item be ~ esented for next council meeting. The motion carried. The ~~'rea~urer~ s report f'or the month of October was presented. It was moved by Freeburg and seconded by it~mee the report be a;~~~roved. The motion carried. The City Clerk's report for the month of October was presented. It was move by~ Feuerbacher and seconded bar McM~nus the' rep ort be a.~~roved. The motion carried The Library report for the month of November was presen~;ed. It was moved by F'reebury and seconded bjr ~'.~;uerbach~r the report be approved. The motion carried. The Police reports for the month of November were presented. I~ was moved by Tubman and seconded by iiomee the reports be approS~ed. The Bond of the City Engineer was presented for apzr oval by the City Attorney It was moved by Freeburg and s econded by Rorr~e the fond be accepted after approval by the City attorney. The motion carried. The fond of the cBnief of Police was present ed for a pproval by the City Attorney. It was moved by Freeburg and seconded by ~~omee the Bond be accepted after approval of the City Attorrie~. The motion carried. It was moved by Freeburg and seconded by r~eu.erbacher th~.t R~rs. Herbert Bailey be givan permission to remove the 2 trees in tier boulevard, as she requested. The motion carried. Tt uvas moved by Freeburg and seconded by Vold th~.t the city Clerk be auth- orized to advertise Lots 1 8c 2, In Block 3, West Laurel Subdivision, to clear title on same. The motion carried. RESOLU`T'ION N0. 732 Resolution No. 732, being a resolution proposing to extend the boundaaies Minutes of the City Council of Laurel 5 December 1950 of the C:~.ty of Laurel, P1lontanr~., to include a portion of lst tivenue ~ubdivi~ion was presented and r Qad. It wras moved by ~''reebur~ and s econd~d by Romee, Resolution lvo. 732 be passed. Upon ro11 call all aldermen present voted t'aye~' and said resolution was declared passed. An apalication for a building permit by L. C. fors to build a ~;ara~e 11..x22 of new lumber on concrete foundati on on Lots 11 Sc 12, Block 2, Youn~~ s Subdivisio at an ap~~oxir~ to cost of x;700 was presented. It was r.~oved by McP~~nus and seconded by ~''reebury the hermit be granted. The motion carried. An application for a pex~it by C. H. Barney to remodel house ~t 217 2nd Avenue, to have cement steps in front and rear, enclose porch, en~e.r~e living room, and remodel upstairs, at an approxir~ to cost of ~250Q was presented. Tt was moved by ~'reebury and s ec~nded by ~?omee the permit be granted. The motion carried. ~n application f'or a perrlit by Daniel Suko to build a house 26x32 of concrete blocks on concrete foundation on Lots 5 & 6, dock Nutting `Subdivision at an approximate cost of3500 was presented. T-t was moved by ~'reek~ury and seconded by t~omee the hermit be granted. The motion carried. A report was read on the delinquent lice~ases. The Mayor stated that h~ had r~.ceived a letter from the Montana Municipal League in regard to revenue bills which they were to prasent to the meeting of the Legislature at the coming; term., and asked that members of the Finance Committee help check the list v~~i th him. It was moved b;~T Mcl~2anus and seconded by Feuerbacher that Williams and Schessler be billed for the ornamental light pol~ss, which were recently installed Sor them. The motion carried. A report was liven by Alderman Freeburg on counters and fixtures at the Bank. The matter was referred to the finance committee to negotiate for what might be wanted.
