N~~ember 19,50 The City council of the City of ~'aurel met in r egular session in the Council Chambers and was called to order by Mayor 'Thomson. at 7.30 Ot clock P. M. Tuesday November 7th, 1950. Upon roll ca11 the follo~vim; al~.ermen an~vtrered present: Rornee Feuerbacher Tubman Mc~anus &ZcCormick Freeburg Wo1d The minutes of the last r~;gular meeting wera read. It was moved by Feuerbacher and _seconded by ~omee the minutes be approved. ~'he motion carried. An application for' a permit by Mrs. David Bohm to build an a ddition 1~.~11~ on hose, of new and used materials .on eoncr~~e blocks on concrete footings on Lots 9 & 10, Block 8, Youri~ts second Subdivision, at an approximate cost of 1000 was presented. It was moved by ~'reet~ury and seconded by Homee the permit b~ granted. The motion carried. ~n applicati. on for a perm it by David Morgan. to moue a hous e 22x26 frame, from rear of Sob Outland Avenue. to Lots 6 & 7, Block 27, east Yellowstone ~ub- division, to be moved on rubber tires and placed on concrete foundation a~ an approximate cost e~f ~~000 way presented. I~ was moved by V'Jold and seconded by eebur~ the permit be grantoci. The motion carried. An a,~plication fora permit by H. L. Moon to build a 5x6 frame addition to prosent dwelling, on concrete foundation., ~:bf: nea~~,~~.c~-cia~~edl ~ma~e~is~', on Lot 18, Block 11, Laurel Fiei~;hts ~ubci3_vision, at an approximate cost o£ ~50 way presented. T~ wasmoved by Freeburg and seconded by Tubman the pormit be granted. Thy; motion carried. An application for a permit by Clarence Adams to move a 10x18 frame garage from hots 1 & 2, Block 2, Park Subdivision, to Lots 13, 11.x. & 15, Bloch 1, Park ubdiv3sion, to be moved on rubber ~irss to be placed on concrete foundation at an approximate cost of X125 was presented. It was moved by Romee and seconded by ~'reebury thQ permit be granted. The: motion carriQd. An application For a permit by Oscar Ander~~on to build an 18x21 frame garage on concrete foundation, all new lumber, compo3ition roof, on Lots 13 & 14, Block 7, ~uttin~ Subdivision, at an a~c~proximate cost of 350 was presented, It eras moved by Mc~anus and ~ec~nded by Romee the permit be granted, The motion carried. Tt was moved by ~l~ubman and seconded by Feuerbacher the permit be granted. The motion carried. An application for a permit by Maley K. Berke ~o build a gara~e 1~t21+. ' frame, of new lumrer on concrete foundation on Tots T7 & 18, Block b, Laurel Heights Subdivision., at an ap~~roximate cost of X100 was presented. It wag move by Montanus and seconded by ~'euerbacher the permit be granted. The motion carried. The Police reports for the month of October were presented. St was moved by McM~.n.us and seconded by Feuerbacher the reports be approved. The motion carri ed. The Police Judgets report for the month of October was presented. It was i:~.oved.by lubman .and seconded by ~'reebury the report be approved.. the motion c~.rried. The Health Officers s report f'or the month of October vas presented. It was moved by r'reebury and seconded by Mcla1anus the report be approved. The mots on carried. The Water report fog September 20th, was prese~i~ad end read.
