Counci]. Chambers and was cal. led to order by Mayor 'j'homson at 8:00 0~ alo~k
P. Tuesday, September 5th, 1850.
Upon ro11 call the following aldermen answered presentw

The minutes of the last r1~e~ing were read. It was moved by Feuerbacher
and seconded by Freeburg the minutes be approved. The motion carried.
The Police rspc~rts for the month of August ~r ere presented. ~t vase moved bq
M~Manus and seconded b~ ~omee the r epor~s be approved. jhe motion carried.
The Police Judge's report f'or the month of August was pre~en~ed. It was
mowed b~ Feuerbacher and seconded by ~o~ee the reports be approved. `.~`hs motion carried.
Mr. John ~wemer, of Frannie 1iVyo., ar~peared before the Council in regard
to the closing of the fast-West Alley in Block 7, Laurel Realty Subdivision,
and the opening of a North-youth alley in same Block. '~ha Mayor appointed a
committee of McManus, Romee and ~'reebur9 to s Ludy the matter, and draw up the necessary petition for such a closing.

Resolution No. 728, being a resolution levy3.ng and assessing a special t ax
against property herein described for gavel and oil mat on lots in the City of
Laurel. it was moved by~ ~'~reebury and seconded by 4~old, Resolution No. 728 be pissed. Upon roll caul, all aldermen present voted "~.ye" and ~a~d re~olu~ion
was declared passed.
ORDINANCE N0. I}.ls
ordinance No. 1~1~, being an Ordinance regarding Oil & Cxrease traps to el~.minate oil and grease from entering serer lines, was~spresented for final
passage. It was moved by Fraebury and seconded by Romee Ordinance No. 1}15 be
passed on second reading. Upon roll call, the following aldermen voted 'aye:"
Romee, Mc~anus , Freeburg and Feuerbacher. "No" x WoZd.
RESOLUTION ND 7 27
Resolution No. 727 a resolution creating special Improvement District No. 73
of the City of Laurel, designatin~,,the boundaries thereof as defined b~ E~eml-
ution No. 726, passed by the City council of the City of laurel and referring
to paid r3~olution of inten~Gion f'or further particulars. It was moved b~
Freeburg and seconded by NlcMazus, Resolution No. 727 be passed. Upon roll ca11
all aldermen present voted "Aye" and said .Resolution No. 7~7 i~~s passed.
It was moved by 1Nold and seconded by McManus the City Clerk be instructed to
publish Notice inviting proposals, for Sp ecial Improvement District 1Vo. 73.
The motion carried.
An application for a permit by Bernard John Kiedrow~ki ~o build an 18x20

Allard Subdivision, at an approximate cost of X2,500 was presented. I~ was moved
by Romer and seconded by Feuerbacher the permit be granted. The motion carried.

The motion carried:
The following increase, or adjustment of w a~e~ was presented by the
finance Committee, and the Mayor for consideration by the Council:.
Employees receiving ~i.3~ per Hour, adjusted to ~l'39 1.

Employees to receive an additional 5~ per hour, when acting as supervisors.
`t'he `ity Clerks s p~lary to be adjusted to X235.00 per month.
The salary of James Bare, at Sewage '~isposal Plant to be X210.00 per rtlQnth. The salaries of Ed Ronnie, and George B~.ackford, at the Pump riouse to be
ad3usted when their services are r equired at the Sewage "isposal Plant.
It was moved by tiYOld and seconded by Feuerbacher the report of the Mayor
and Finance Committee on ad ju~tment of wages be approved and effective as of
August lst. The motion carried.
