Mr. Charles Carroll, Chairtn~l~ :.of the Yel~.owstanc ~'hapter of the Red Cross:
appeared before the ~ouneil in regard to Water Safety and Life Guards at the
swimming Pgol. He introduced ~~r. Robert Hamiltoh, who is chairmaln of the Red
Cross First Air, at~d ~+,r. Kichard ~Jorgtarm, who gave very interesting and
informative talks on the many safety features invo~.ved i.n the operatiota of a
swimming pool.

Resolution No. 712, being a resolution tran9ferri~ig certain fu~ads of the
City of Laurel, was pr~set~ted and read. It was moved by Rodgers nand seconded bg~
home that Resolutioia No. 712 be approved and passed. Upgn ro11 ca].X alb aldermen
present voted `~aye~~ and said re:~alutiol~ was declared passed a~ad approved.

vacate that certain tract of land within the Gity of Laurel, ~~~,ntana, being a
portion cf the north snd sough, and east and west alleys betwe~ta Lots 5 & 6, and
Lots 6 & '7, all in Block 29, of ~h~ Willard ~abdivisiot~ to the Gity of Laurel,
was presetated Gnd read. It was moved by Rodgers ar~d seconded by Romee the
Mayor end City Clerk be authorized to sign such a petition, atad advertise notice

that the ownership of the line was re-organized and would comer twins shards,
