Minutes of the City Council of Laurel

The City Council of the pity of t~aurel met in regular session in the Council
Chamber and uvas called to order by 1Vlayor Zhomson at '~w3U o' clock P. M. 'T`uesday
October 16th, 1951.
Upon ro11 call the follovring aldermen answered present:
Romee Feuerbacher
Mcr~anus F~eebury
Tubman
The minutes of the last regular and adjourned ro~ular meetings wire read.
It wasmoved by Tubmara. and seconded by Feuerbacher the minutes be approved. The
riotion carried.
Mrs. Clyde Decker appeared before the Council requesting permission to tip
on mater ~+Iain, outside of City Limits, north of pity. It vas moved by McManus
and seconded by Rpmee that perriission be granted for such a tap. The r?lotion
carried.
• The mater report f'or ~'ugust 20th, .was presented and mead. It was moved by
~ ~ Feue rbaeher and seconded by I~'reebury tthe report be approved. The motion carried.

The health Of ficer~ s report for the month of_' ~e~tember was read. It was
moved by ~1'ubman and seconded by ~'omee the r epor~ be approved. The motion carried.
An applioati on for ape rmit; bg Lew `'onner to build a temporary f~arr~ building 1L~x20, new and ~ssed material, set on wood blocks, coeered vaith brick siding,
to be used for storage and work :hop, on Lots 1 to 3, Block 30. Allard ~ubdinisio
at an app~oxirnate cost of ~i35 was presented. It was moved by '~'ubman and seconded
by Homme the permit be granted. The motion carried.
A litter from Dr. W. A. Mc~ormick in regard to finishing of curb at 309 First ~~nue was read. It vas moved by ~omee and seconded by Freeburg tY~e
letter be placed on file. The motion carried.
A letter from the Pollee Committee recommending a new Yoliee ear was presente
and read, No action was taken at this time.
It was moved and seconded we da nom adjourn. The motion carried.
