The City Council of the City of Laurel met in regular session in the
coun~,i~. Chamber and qas called to order by Mayor Thorlson at 7:30 of clock P. M. Tuesday July 17th, 1951.
Upon roll call the following aldermen answered present::
Feuerbachar Scott
McCormick McManus Tubm€~n Rodgers
T~ minutes of the last meeting were mead. It was moved by 1'ubman and
seconded by ~'euerbacher the minutes be approved. 'l~Y~e motion carried.
An application fbr a Beer and Liquor License f'or the Cheerio was
presented. It was moved by rl`ubman and seconded by McCormick the application be approved. 2'he motion carried.
An application Por Retail Beer License for the I~~ill Drive-in was
presented. It w as moved b~ Tubman and seconded by TVIcCormick the application
be approved. The motion carried.
The Health Officerts report for the month of dune was ~ esented. It was
moved by Feuerbacher and seconded by Mcj~i~us the report be a~praved. The motion
carried.
The l~reasurer~ s report for the month of June was presented. It ~v as
moved by `~ubman and seconded by McManus the report be approved. The motion carried.
The Clerk's report for the month of June ~roas prosented. It was moved by
Feuerbach~r end seconded by ~taa~ers the report be approved. The motion carried.
An application fora perrlit by Claude In~rah€~ to build a 28x1.}.2 frame
house, on concrete block foundation. on concrete footir~g, of new andused materials on Lots i3 & ll~., B1ock 2f~, East Yellowstone subdivision, at an
approximate cost of ~B,000f;was presented. It was moved by McManus and
seconded by McCormick the permit be granted. 'l~he motion carried.

ordinance No. )~29, being; an ordinance prescribing the form, denomination
and rate of interost of bonds of special Imp ovement DLS tr.L et No. 7~, and
providing for the t ime of payrlent and redemption of said bonds, w as proserrt ed.
It was moved by '1'ubman and seconded by Rodgers that Ordinance No. 429 bQ passed
on fir st reading. "ylTpon roll call all aldermen present voted °'Aye r' and said
~rdinanee was declared passed on first reading.

Ordinance No. l.}.28, being an ordinance relating to this ._~r~.dth and locations
of sidewalks and curbs, was presented for final passage. T-t was moved by
Tubman and seconded by Rod~ors that ordinance No. ~.~.28 be finally passed and
approved. Upon roll call all aldermen present voted i'Aye'~ and said ordinance was declared finally passed and approved.
