The City Council of the City of Laurel met in special session in
the Council Chambe"r in the City Ha1.l to canvas the election returns of
April 2nd, 14 1, and was called ~o order by mayor l~homson at 7:30 o~clock
P. M. April 9th, 1951.

The Mayor stated that the purpose of the meeting ~?as to canvass the
eleeti on returns. of April 2nd, 1951, and thereon named tellers to check the
returns. AFter reviewing the returns the Committees reported back the
following votes::
