FIRE COMMITTEE

A quorum (3 or more) present, the following action was taken
By the Committee:
Discussion was held on fire truck bids received. They are as
follows:
White GMC chassis- 5 man cab (does not meet specs.) $194,942
Spartan Monarch chassis- 7 man cab $206,870
Motion by Marvin Carter, seconded by Ron Marshall, to recommend
the Spartan Monarch , with option of design change order not to
exceed $6,000. Motion carried.
~he Committee requested that the City Council reinact the
~ Grant Committee, or any grant conunittee, even possibly
hire a professionalf
The Fire Department will be working on the new Fire District
contracts. They are to be sent out and returned by early
April. They will be made final by the first council meeting in
May.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:00 p.m..
