The. Citq Council of the Ci~Gy of Laurel met in r e~ular session in the Council. Chamber and ~ra~ called to order by 1~ayar Thomson at 7:.30 o~alock P. M.

The minutes of the lash regular meeting were read. Tt ~a~'mt~ved b~
Freeburg and seconded by Homes the minutes be approved. The motion ~arr3.ed.
This being the time set for receiving bids for the sale of Lots 3, 4, 5 & b,
~loek 6, Youn~~ s Second Subdivision, the pity clerk presented proof of
public~tioM in the Laurel Outlook, ar~d was ins~rueted to open and read all bids.
Ong bid from Hobert Hamilton in the amQUnt of 1.00 f'or Lots & b, a.nd ~22~
for Lots 3 & a dotal of ~i25 for Lots 3, 1}, 5 & b, ~va~ received.
One bid from J. Harris Jr. in the amount of ~~.OE}.,Ll.O Dior Lots 3 & l.~, 5 & 6,
Block b, Young's Seeond Subdivision, was received. One bid from John 1Qolte 3.n the amount of ~9i1 ~o~ Lots 3 8c & 6, Block 6, Youngs Second" ~ubdivis ion,
was received.
It ~+as moved b~g Tubman and seconded by ~euerbaeher ghat the bid of John
Nolte, being the best bid, bs accepted if he developer the lots by building.

A letter from Jim Phillips making a,~plication fog Life Guard at the
~wimmi~ Pool for the corn n~ season was received. Tt was rnc~v~d b~ Freeburg and
seconded by Me~~anus the letter be placed on file. The motion carried.

Resolution No. 73?, being a resol.utioM transferring certain funds of the
C3.ty of Laurel. was presented and read. Tt was moved b9 McManus and seconded b~
Wold Resolution No. 73? be passed. Upon roll call all aldermen present voted
f~'Aye'" and paid Resolution was adopted. ,
The Treasurers s report for the month off' February was presented. It way moved by R'omee and seconded by Wold the report be approved. `~.~he motion carried.
The. .,City Clerks s report for the month of ~'ebruar~r was presented. It was
moved by ~'reebury anal seconded b~~ ~'e~erbacher the report be s~,~p~oved. The motion
carried.

as an aid in expediting the flov~ of traffic.

Resolution No. 738, that it is the desire af' the Mayor and Council to go
on r eeo~d as opposed to a~ youth ;fide By-pass as staked out by the Mate highway
