The City Council of the City of ~'aurel met in r ~~;ular session in the
Council `'hamber end was called to ordar by Mayor `j'homson at 7:30 0' clock P. M..
Tuesday, Fab:r~u ary 20th, 151.
Upon roll call the following aldarmen answered present:
Freeburg ~'euerbacher
~omee McManus
McCormick '1'ubman
t~odgers _
The minutes of the :last meeting were read. It was moved bs Feuerbacher and seconded by McManus the minutes be a;~proved. The motion carried.
This bein~~ the time yet for receiving bids f'or the sale of Lots
3, ~-I-, 5; 6, 7 & 8, Block 3, tiVest Laurel subdivision, the clerk presented proof
of publication in t lze Laurel Outlook and was instructed to open and read all bids.
One bid in the amount of ~~310 vvas rQCeived from James A. Dixon, plus the cost of :Sewer. It was moved by ~ubman and seconded b~? Homee the bid of James Dixon be
accepted and a deed issued to him. The motion carried.
fw2r. B. F. ~3eiler, of ~hA Industrial Equipment ~o., appeared kiefore the
Council r~questin permission to derlonstrate anew Huff Loader, "Saturday morning.
Perrlis~ion was ~ran~ed b~,~ the Council.
The Health Officers ~ report for the month of r'ebruartT was p~esonted. It
was moved by 1~od~ers and seconded by ~''re~bury the reY~ort be a pproved. The motion
carried.
The report of tho Police Judge for the month of January was read. It
was moved by r~omee and secondedby ~''reebury t he r eport be a~~proved. The motion carried.
Roy Stewart of: ~i11in~>s, appreared before the Council in regard to
Police enforcement in Yellowstone County. It was moved byl~~cManus and seconded
by Rodgers that the Mayor andI'olice Department co-operate with the Sherif~'~~- s
office along the plan outlinad by Mr. ~;tewart, ~s they s ee fit to do so. The motion carried.
The 2'reasurer~ s report for the month of Jan~zary was presented. It was
moved by jiomee and seconded by ~''reebury the red ort b~ appr~nved. The motion
carried.
'Ihe Clerks s report for i;he month of January was- presented. It was moved by Feu~rbacher and seconded by Freeburg t he report be approved. Tcie motion
carried.
An application £or a ~~ermit by .fan Lydia Fray k to bukld a 26x3l~. Frame
house, all new materials on concrete foundation on Lots 5 R~ 6, Block 6, First
Avenue. subdivision, at an a~~~~rox~mate cost of 8000 was presented. It was moved by T,~cT~lanu~ and seconded b~T Freeburg the ~err~it be granted. `The motion carried.

addition to present house, of new and used ma Gerials on concrete foundation,
on Lots 5 & 6, Block 30, Allard subdivision, a~ an a~~»roximat~ cost of X500 was
presented. It was moved by ~tomee and seconded by Freeburg the hermit be granted.
The motion carried.

19x21, into house, to build an a ddition 12x18 for ~az~age on ~as~:~side, a 10x10 addition on West Side of present building, to be raised and placed on concrete
foundation, to bE of new and used lurriber , stuccoed when finished, on rear of
Lots b & 7, Block lb, Nutting Subdivision, at an approximate cost of X1,000,
was pre s~nted. It was moved by Mci~ylanus and s econded by no~ee the permit be
granted. ~fhe motion carried.
An application for a hermit by James ~ ~ney to build a 2 3x31.}_ bitizdobe
(Stablized bricl~) House, of new and used material on concrete ~ounclation, on
Lots 1 2, Block 33, Allard Subdivision,- at an a~~roximate cosh of 6000 was
presented. It was moved by ~tornee and seconded-by Feuerbacher the permit be
granted. The motion carried.

hol~.se, of now and used material on concrete foundation and basement, on Lots
~ & a>lock 20, East Yellowstone ~ubdivis ion, at an a ~proxirnate cost. of X6000
was pre s~nted. It was moved by ~~cl`~l~ us and seconded by ~`'ree~,iry the permit be
