The C3-ty CoU.n.cil of tk~e Citg of Laurel rnet in regular meeting in the Counoil Chambers and was called to order by Mayor Thomson at 7 t~30 0~ clock ~
P. M. Tuesday, September 16th, 19 2.
Upon roll call the following aldermen answered pre sent s ~

The minutes of the last meeting were read. It was moved by McManus and
seconded by Scott the minutes be approved. the motion carried. , ~ i
Mr. Fred Quinn speared before the council rsgia.es~Gin~ permission to put in
new hype sidewalk in fron~G of his residence on East Six~Gh street. He way advised
by the Council that before such a sidewalk could be Qonstructed, he would have to
submit a petition from other property owners along Sixth street, from First .~ven.~ ~
~o ~.1~er Avenue, requesting same.
A letter dated September 8~h, 1952s from the 1Nater Cornrr~ ~t~e, and Water
Comrni~sioner was presented and read, as follows:
