All Funds are .fully a egregated and show separa~Le and dis~~n~~G bl.ance~ on the
City Treasurer's books . -
Claims are well itemized and show the a~eproval for payment.
It is suggested that careful check be made the Burglary Insurance Policy to
determine if it covers cash outside of the ~a~q, and also monies in transit to
~d from the bank.
The Montana supreme Comet has declared hunch boards are illegal, therefore, the
Trade stamps are obsolete and of n.o value. It i s su.~gested that th.e council
authorize the City Clerk to d estroy the s~Garnps on hand.
In the December 18, 1951 I42inutes there is an entry stating; that the City council
authorized the purchase by the city of ~,~,70C~.00 worth of Spe vial Improvement
District Bonds as an investment in the Interest on War Bondi ~'~und. We question
the legality of the purchase of any investments out of City Funds in anything
except General Obligation fonds or Warrants.
TJUe wish to thank the City Clerk and City~~reasurer f'or the splendid cooperation
and assistance extended during this examinat3.on.
