Bushman appeare d before the Council requesting a Trending license for selling pop, candy and ice aroam from a cart. It was moved by ~Seott and seconded by McCormick the letter be roferred to tho Fire Department. '~ha motion caried. An appli cat ion from H. C. Chris Hansen for Li~'e Guard was read. It was moved by McN~~.us and seconded by Rodgers the le tter be ref'3erred to J. E. Freobtzry, Chairman oi' the ReQrea~ion. Dep~.~~men~ for filing. The motion carried. RESOLUTION N0. 77? Resolution No. 777, being aresolu~ion transf erring certain funds of the City of Laurel was read. I-~ way moved by ~`reebury and s econded by Romee that Resolution No. 777 be appsed anda~~provod. It w as moved by McManus and seas nded by ~,od~ers that R solution No. 7?8 be passed and ap~aroved. Upon ro1.l call all aldermen present voted '~'aye~' and said xesolti.~ion was declared gassed and a~~yaroved. RESOLUTION N0. 779 Resolution No. 779 being a resolution proposing to extend the boundaries o~ the City o~ Laurel, to include Blocks 3 & of the First avenue Subdivi.s ion„ which is that land ling be~~~en Mar~rland Lane on the ..south, and the Domain D3.teh on the north, and 3'hird Avenues and First ~venues~ was ~p~esented and read. The motion carried. After study of the preliminary budget it was moved by Scott and seconded by Romee ~ha~ the levy be set at 1.E.0 mi1_l~. The motion carried. It was movod by Rodgers and seconded by Fredbury that the proposed raise in license, be studied bar -the Police commi~~ee before action is taken.
