Council Chamber and was called to order by Mayor 'Thomson at 7•...30 0~ clock
P. I~7. 2'uesday, April 15th, 1t~~2•
Upon roll call the following aldermen answered presont:

ThQ rlinutes of :the- last r;iee~in~ were read.. It was moved by ~-~~ubman and seconded by Fouerbabhor tho rlinutes be approved. Trle motion carried.
This being the time- for the hearing of protests against the creation of
special Improvement District No. 7L~, the clerk stated ~h~t 90 protests, or
a dotal" of owners of 187 lots were received. This_ k~e n~ a total of l~}.~ of
all property owners, therefore i~ was moved by Mci`f~anus and. seconded by
Feuerbacher that it be declared that protests were sufficient ~.d the project be di~contnu:ted. The motion carried.
.This being the time set for the opening of .bids for r~- nf'orced concrete
Viewer Pipe, , tl~; Ctty Clerk presented proof o~ publication in .the Laurel
"utloo~ and zvas requested to open and reed all bids. Une bid From the
C-• Elk River Concrete Products Go. way received in the following amounts:
8 feet of 24:r' re-infbrced pipe at 3.98 per foot
y 82~ feet of 0" re-inf'oreed i e at 3 p' P 5.75 der foot
Tne above prices are f'or pipe de"livered on the jobs ~e at Laurel by truck.
Delivery can be made within 15 days of r ecept of order. It wasmoved by
Freebury and s econded by Romee ghat the bid: be accepte-d for tha heavy re-inforced pipe. The motion carried.
RESOLUTION N0. 77a
Resolution No. 770, being aresolution transferring certain funds of
the city' of Laurel was read.. It wasl~~~r~oved by Mel~anus and seconded by
Rodgers that Resolution No. 770 be passed. Upon roll c all all aldermen ' ', ~rosent voted "a~e`~ and said R~solut~.on was declared passed and adopted. ',
A letter from the Billings Gazette, in ~hicl~ they stated their
willin~ne ss to co-operate vrith the City in keeping; wires and gapers from
beeomin~ a nuisance on the corner of Mont ana tivenus and 147ain ~troet was
read. The letter was placed on fi3:~.
ThQ Treasurer's rsp ort for the month of March was ~re`sented. I t was
moved by Rodgers and seconded by Feuerbacher they:report b,e approved. The
motion carried.
