The City council of the the Citq of ~aure l rr~et in r egular session in
.the. Council Chamber and was called to order by Mayor ~jhomson at 7:30 0~ clock
P. M. `Pue sday, January 15th, 1952.
Upon roll call the following aldermen ansvuered present;

~'he minutes of the last meeting; were read. It was. moved by ~'a~uerbacher
and seconded by l'ubman tihe minutes be approved. The motion carried.
The Police Committee submitted written. ~~eoorarnenda~ions proh3.biting
double parking on Main 5~reet and ls~, 2nd, 3rd, 1!2ontana, Colorado and Penn-
9ylvan3.a Avenues, between Main Street and. First Street.
Tt was moved. by Freeburg and seconded by l~omee: that the City Attorney
draw' up ,an Ordinance for next meeting, prohibiting double ~a.rkin~ throughout the City, with a minimum fine of X1.00 for such violation: The motion carri ed.

Resolution No. 762, being a resolution declaring an emergency exists requiring
additional e xpenditures frnrn the Park Fund, .'the City Clerk presented proof
of publication in the L~.u.re1 Outlook and reported no pro~Gests received.
RESOLUTION N0. 763
This being the time set for hearing prote.s~s ~~ain~t the passage of
Resolution No. 763, 'being a resolution declaring an emergency exists regta.~~ing
additional expenditures frorl the. Sewer Fund, the pity Clark presented proof
of publication in the Laurel Outlook and reported nc~ pro~Gests received.

The Clerk's report for the month of T~ecember was presented. l~ was
moved by ~''euerbacher and seconded by ~tomee the report be approved. The motion
carried.
It was moved by ~reebury and secondedby Mcidanua that a ~es> lution be
prepared for the next meei~ing of the council, of Int~nt~on to Create special
Improvement District for the plaQing of concrete curbs and gutters ~n ` ~ the streets on the mouth Side of Laurel.. The motion c air ed.
It was moved by "omee and seconded by McManus that the bill f'or a stove
for the Sewage.. Disposal P'1ant, presented by Mrs. Ga~~, be paid. Z'he motion

It was moved and seconded ~e do 'now adjourn. The motion carried.
