The City Council of the pity of Laurel met in ragular session in the Council
Chambor and was called t o order by 41ayar Thomson at 7:30 O~clock P. 1~2. 'r"uesday
January 8th, 1952.
Upon roll call the f'ollovuin~ aldermen answered ~~resent:

The minutes of the last meeting were read. It vas moved by Freeburg and
seconded by "omee the minutes be approved. The motion carried.
Mr. ~'harle9 Wood a;~peared before the Council and stated that Dr. irossel~a
v~uld vaccinate dogs and cats not having been vaccinated for rabies, the after-
noon and evening of January 21st.
It was moved by Scott acid seconded by nodgers that an ordinance requiring the vaccination of all doffs before license are sold, be drawn up ~'or Lhe next
m~~tin~;. The riot ion carried.
This being the time for opanin~; of bids f'or a Carload of Cast Iron Water
pipe and f ittin~;s, ~th~ Clerk presented proof of publication in the Laurel
outlook and ti~as requested to open and read all bids. Two bids were received.

The Police Judge's report for the ~.onth of December and a summary of the
Year's business were read. It was moved by ~ZcManus end seconded by ~~euerbacher
the reports be approved. The motion carried.

was moved by Mc~anus and seconded by ~~ornee that the hermit be granted if sign is hung according to C"3.ty specifications. The notion parried.

~~auuthorized to release ~p'2600 in ~'ollateral as requested by the Yellowstone Bank.
