Chambers. and was called to order by Mayor Thomson a~G 7:30 0~ Qlock p. m., Tuesday December 15~hi 195• Upon roll call the following aldermen answered present: Ruff Rodger s Seott MaNjanu~ Beslanwitah Tubman Harri s ~''re ebury The minutes of the last mee~Gin~ were read. St was- moved by Seot~ and seconds by ~~'ubman, the minut e ~ be approved. The mo~Gi on oarri ed. Mr. ~'on~r ~ollova appeared before the Gouneil in regard to a water connection on the line easy of the City. According to aon~Gract drawn up in 1942, phis dap was permissable. The Z'rea~urer's report ~'or the month of j~ovember was presented. It was moved by ~QOt~G and seconded by Freeburg the report be ~ >proved. The motion carried. The Clsrkt s report for the month of November was ~~resented. ~t was moved by ~oott and seconded by FPeebury the re porgy be approved. The motion earri ed. RESOLUTION N0. 81+3 Resolution No. 8f~3, being a resolution of intsn~ion to Qreate apeai~l improve men~G District No. 79, being curbs and gutters in the First and Second i~ard~ was presented. It was moved by ~l~ubman and seeonded by Barris that ~8~olu~Gion No. 843 h~ passed end approved. Upon roll Qall a11. aldermen present voted r~aye'~ and said Resolution was declared gassed and approved. RESOLUTION N0. 81~.~}. ~2'esolution No. 8L~.~., being a resolution ~ransferrin~ certain funds of Ghe City of Laurel was presented. I~ was moved by McManus and seconded by Rodgers that Resolution No. 8L}.~} be passed and approved. Upon ro11 call ally aldermen present vo~Ged "aye's and .said ~e~olution was declared passed and approved. The City Engineer inf orme d the Counc it that it would cost approximately 1800 to have the new ci~Gy Hall building plastered. It was moved by Freeburg and seconded by 1VIol~lanus ~ha~G permission ~o have thid~ vuork done be given. The mo~G ion carri ed. The City engineer reported ~~at 2 8x16 ventilators could be installed in the f'ron~ windows, whiQh vuould improve the Qircula~Gion of air in the ~~ter Off'iQe Building, at a ~o~al eos~G of X69. It was moved by Saot~G and seQOnded by Tub~an that the ven~ila~ors be installed. Thy motion carried. plans f'or The Cou~.~~el agreed that the~h;eating of the City Hall building be drawn up by the arohi~eQt. Claims for the final completion of wgrk done in S.I.D. #75 to Herman ~Sahessle payment to J.-~. Mi~ahell Cons~Gruc~Gion ~'o. f'or work completed on building; and to Yellouus~one Electric company, f'or work oomplB~Ged on wiring of building were presented.
