Members Present:Dan Lowell, John Minch, Darrell
McGillen, John Stevens, Dave Gauslow, Ken 01sen,
Ron Marshall
and
I.Brush Truck:The chasis should be delivered in March
and the truck should be on line in May.
II.Fire District Contracts:The committee recommends an
increase in the Fire District Contracts over the next
three years.When these contracts are finalized they
will be presented to the council for approval.
III.Fire Department. Billing: Darrell will work with
the city attorney to change city ordinances to allow
the Fire Dept. to collect monies from any person(s)
outside the city or fire districts who cause the
department to be called out. This will include arson,
also farmers and others who do not follow burning
permit procedures.
IV Mutual Aid Contracts:These will be updated and
include changes in language.
V Fire Inspections: The preliminary inspections should
be done soon and the fire inspector will re-inspect
those businesses that are in violation.
VI Budget: General discussion was held on the budget
and future requests.
