The minutes of the last meeting were read. It vua~ moved by Ruff and
~eaonded by Rodgers the minutes be ~.pproved. The motion Qarried.
Mr. Harold Frop~ appeared hafore the Council in re~~rd to burning of Garbage
in District Ito. 2. W~lS moved by Freeburg and seconded by Tubman th.e street
and ~ll~y committee make a study of the problem before Budged time and make
reQOmr~ndations to the Council. The motion Qarried.
This being the dime for opening bids f'or I. D. ~7L~, ~Ghe Cl erk vacs ins~~- uc~ed to open and re~.d all bads. Two bids were received as f'ollo~u~:
A ~ A Builders bid ~6,31~.L}.0, and the bid of Barry O~Leary of ~9,361.~..4U.
~f'tsr delibera~Gion by the Council, i~ was moved by Tubm.an and ~eeonded by Harris
that the bid of the A & Builders be aceepted. The mot~.on darned.
Mrs. Bertha Ge.hrett and Mrg. Edna Chapman appeared before the ~ounoil
requesting tha~G something be done about making the Library cooler. orsen~ on
some of the windows, or fans might be off' some help.
Mrs. Eugene Briton appeared before the Caunc it in regard t o t,Yie burning off'
garbage in Garbage Dis~riQt iVo. 2.
Mr. A. A. Mo~sr appeared before the Council in regard to moving water meter
into Beau~Gy shop. It way moved by Tub man and s econded by Ruff that the meter be
left in same place, a~ 3.t is at the present, and if the meter is moved from ~Ghe
curb, it will be necessary that a ~epara~e line ~o tY~.e other house i~ pub in.
The motion carried.
A bid ~rc?m the L~.ure1 co-op Assocs. for ga~ol.ine was received. The bid was
placed on fi~:e.
This being the 'G imp ~'or opening bids on the Nutting Property, the Clerk way
instructed to -open and read all bids. Fous~ bids were received as follows:

highest bid, be accepted, and further ~ha~ ~ deed be tendered ~Go the buyer within
30 days, together with Title InsuranQe, and faxes pro-rated to the l.st dad of
July, 19 3; and that al]. fun.d~ received ~°rom sale off' proper~y~ter dec.ua~~.ons os'
-all expenses inourrsd in advertising and sale, be divided equally one-half to
the Library and one-half ~o the Swim Pool. The motion parried.

motion carried.
An application fora Club Beer and Liquor Lioense f'or the Eagle's Club was presented. It was moved by Ruff andseQOnded by Rodgers ~Ghe application be
approved. The motion carried.
An applica~ ion for deer & Liquor license for the Laurel Bar was presented.
It was moved by ~flot~ and seconded by Rodgers the application be approved. The
motion carried.
