This being ti~.e time f'or canvassing; the returns of the Special Bond ~lec~Gion
held in the pity ~f Laurol on ,A.pril 6th, 1953, and pursuant to the requirements
of the Revised Coades of the State of Pvton~ana, the City Couno it met as a
canvassing beard for the purpose of canvassing ~~h.e returns of the special Bond
Elect3~on held in the City of Laurel, M on~Gana, on April 6th, 1953, 14~ayor Thomson.
presiding.
The Tellers h€~ving opened and canvassed t1~e said returns, reported as
follows;
Shall the City Coupe it of the Czty of Laurel, jm~ntana, be authorized to
inour an indebtedness of said City by issuing in the name of said City its negotiable General City Hall Bonds in the total principal sum of 22,000.00,
said bonds to be ~?ayable on tho amortization Man or to ~~e serial bonds as pro
provided by lavu, and to bear a.nterest at a rate not exceeding per annum,
payable semi-ara.n.ually, said bonds t n be is s~.~d';t>o provide funds to be used
fnr the purpose of procurii~, oons~ructing, establishing, ~.~..%n~Gainin~ and
opera~Ging a City Hall and Fire Dopartment Station within rho Qorporate lirni~Gs of said City, and may the Ci~Gy council levy a direo~ annual ad valorem tax

It was moved by McNrarius and seconded by P~oCormiek tree reports of the tellers
be ac~pted. Upon roll ca11 all aldermen are sent votod 1PAye'~ and the rnotiron was
