B. r~u~by appeared before tha Council in regard to license for hint busine~~. It rovas moved by Scott and seconded by I~omee the rna~ter be referred to ~Ghe Finance Cornmi~tee for deoision. The motion carried. An application f'or a permit by W. S. Mooney to build a 2~.x31~ frame house on conQrete foundation on LOt~ 11. & 12~ Bloc k. 5, Park subdivision, at _an approximate emst of ~z,040 w~.s read. It vas moved bar Scott and seQOnded bar Me~lanu~ the mater be referred to the ~Yater Committee and the Aldermen of the First Ward for fur~h~r study. The meat ion parried. Mr. Virgil Barnett a~pe~red before ohs Council in regard to ope~a~ir~g a Skating Rink at Riverside Park. I~ was moved by Ma~anus and seconded by Tubman ghat Riverside Park wi11 not be rented fora skating Rink at phis time. 'Phe motion carried. The Council Mated that oMe license ~zl.d cover all vending maehine~ under one management. Mr. roger Montgprnery appeared before the Coune it relative to ~h~ license ~'ee for hia business. 'the H~al~h ~ffiQer~ s report for the month of December was read. Tt was moved by F'reebury and seconded by Rvdgex°s the report be approved. The motion ear :°i~d.
