Ron Marshall, chairman
Darrell McGillen
Gay Easton
Dave Gauslow
Jim Stevens
Committee met to discuss an option to purchase the Arden
property. After review of the document, Gay Easton reported
that he had talked to Mr. Arden and that he was agreeable in
selling his property. Motion by Darrell McGillen, seconded
by Gay Easton that we enter into an agreement with Mr. Arden.
Motion carried.
Discussion concerning the department's contract with the
Yellowstone Treatment Center. The 1995-96 contract was for
$5187. Motion by Darrell McGillen, seconded by Gay Easton that
we offer them another contract for the 1996-97 year for the
same amount. Motion carried.
Discussion was held on the 1996-97 contract for the Laurel
Airport Authority. Last years contract was for $310. It was
mentioned that if the airport continues to expand that they
will have to provide a source of water for fire suppression.
Also mentioned was the fact that if the airport should in the
future become a commercial airport they will have to maintain
their own fire department. Motion by Darrell McGillen, seconded
by Dave Gauslow that we enter into a contract with the Laurel
Airport Authority for the same amount. Motion carried.
