The number of lots in this district was 133 It was moved by Scott and seconded by Freeburg the n~m?~er of lo~Gs being su~f~cien~, the di~~r3.c~ be "killed." The motion carried. NIr. Alex BeYam appeared be~'ore the ~ou~.cil, r~~ues~ing that 10 acres of land in the unplatted portion of ~;he C3.ty, be taken 4u~ of the City, unless he 3.s given consideration in. regard to garbage and Light faxes. It was moved by Seo~t and seconded by Harr3.~, that this land be excluded from garbage and light charges un~Gil such time as the ~ouneil sees ~'it ~o make such charges. The motion carried. ~RDINANC E 1V0. 1.}.78 Ordin~.nee No. 1}78 being an ord3.nance stating distances f'rorn property lines, for bu3.ld3.ngs, w~.s read. Tt was moved by ~reebury and seconded by ~eot~ ~h~t Ordinance No. 478 be passed ~.nd approved. Upon roll Qa11 all aldermen p~~sen voted 'aye" and said or din~r~ee was declared passed and ap~rov~d.
