Zt was mr~ved by Huff and seconded b~ Scott ~Ghe minutes be approved. the motion carried. This being the ~Gime for hearing of protests to the areatin~ of I. D. #79 being aurb~ and gu~~er~ in the First and ~saond ~ard~, and sidewalk, curbs. and gutters in the First Avenue subdivision of the Second UV~ard, the clerk presented prote~~~ bearing names of owners of 1..33.05 ld~ in the Distria~. `l~he number of lots in ~hi~ distria~ were 1309, and ~Ghe number of protests were 1e~~ fihan ~.0~. A delegation of property owners appeared before the Cou.nQil to protest the creation of this DistriQ~. st was moved by ~QOtt and ~edonded by ~eglanwi~ah that the nu~b~r o~ of pro~ssta being in~uffiaien~, ~S. RESOLUTI ON Nd . 84~ RPSOlution No. 81.5, being a ~esolut iol creating Special Tmprov~ment District No. 7g, ,was pressanted and read. ~ was moved by ~'reebury and seconded by Soott that Resolution No. 8~.~.5 be passed and ~.pproved. Upon roll ea11 alb alderxn~n present. voted "eye" and paid resolu~Gion way deolared passed and approve Mr. Harold Eide appeared before the Coundil in regard to moving ~ frailer onto Lot 13, B1oQk 23, of the East Y~1lovvs~Gone ~ubd ~ ~~on. He plans to set said trailer on Qonare~e foundation, as an addition to present dwelli~g~ 'Go build a bath and. shower room.. on said building. Upon roll call all aldermen present voted "ayes' and said Ordinance ~if~,a finally passed and approved. The City attorney was requested to dravu up an ordinance for eliminating storm water from Sanitary Viewers. A letter from the Laurel ~ommerei~l Club, in vuhich they congratul.~ted the City Council for the many improveme r~~G which were added to the City in the past year, was read.
