Resolution Pdo. R51 being a resolution transferring; certain funds of the pity
of Laurel was read. It was moved b~ ~'~e~~:ury and s~corided by j'arker that ~esolutio
lto. 951 be gassed and a~~proved. Upon ro11 call, all aldermen ~~resent voted "ave~'~
and said resolution v~~as declared passed and aparoved.
A le cter from Black and. Vea'i.ch, recommen.d~n~ that the bid cf tho Crane co. be acceptedy was read. It vas moved by ~'reebury grid seconded by Scott that the
recommendation of Black ~ Vea~cch be accepted. The motion carried.
A contract f ~:om Hooker Ele ctrochemieal Co. , for the coming year, 1956, was
pre~entea. Tt vas moved Div ~'arker ~tn~.~~s~~o.~nded by Rodger. s that the Cit~r sign the
contr~.ct. 1'he motion carried.
