FAP COMPLEX

Committee met and reviewed a bid received from Becker Fire
Service, Casper, Wyoming. The bid of $169,979 was substantially
above the 150-155 thousand dollar range that had originally
been projected. A big part of this increase was for additional
lighting, required by the National Fire Protection Association,
which amounted to $6500. Additionally, included was a load
shedder for $1800. This device sheds unnecessary electrical
loads if the generating system becomes overloaded. Also a hose
reel and pump were added in for $6,000.
After discussion, the committee felt that this was a fair
bid considering the cost of the additional equipment. Motion
by Darrell McGillen, seconded by William Staudinger,
that this bid be referred to the Budget and Finance Committee
for it's approval. Motion carried.
