Au~~~~, 1955s a~ 7X30 0' clock p.m. ~ and was aall~d to order by Ma~~a~ ~ omson.
Upon roll ca11 the following aldermen answered present:

A report way liven by tle eater ~'omrnissioner on the Bids which had barn
receiu~d for Water Plant ~ddit3.on. H~ stated that certain deletions would have
to be made on the o~igi.nal plans.
~t was moved by Freebury and seconded by ~yi.lliams that the bid of the fop construction company be accepted for ~ec~ion I, and that Section ITS be
re ~e o to d. the mot ion carried.

Clerk mf3~ered proof of publication in the Laurel Outlook, and way instructed ~o
open. end read all bids. The following b~.ds were received:

Chic ago Bridge & Iron ~o. 1.7, 200.00
It was moved by Freeburg ctrl seconded by UVilliams that the Bid of the
Y~.ttsburgh-Des Moines Company be accepted, on approval bg Black and Ve~tah.
I~ this b3.d is re jetted by ~laek & Veatch, than the bid of the ~~.~.Qago Brid~a and Tron Company be accepted. The motion carried.
It w~.s moved by Rodgers and seconded by Ebersv311er that the oiling of
the streets bar individuals be stopped, unless coating off' sand is put on top.
The motion carried.
